At
age seven, with a case of 45's in hand, I sat with my record player for
hours listening to Nat King Cole, Julie London, Everly Brothers, Les Paul
and Mary Ford...just to name a few.
Then,
one fateful day, I heard Jimmy Smith on the radio, just slamming on the
Hammond Organ. I had already started music lessons and my parent's had
bought a Hammond, so that became the spark of my first love
...Jazz
Organ.
After
studying and practicing every day without food or water...(not really ha-ha),
some of my school buddies decided it would be a good idea to start a band.
I soon found out I could get girls that way, so Lo and Behold...I have
been in a band ever since!
Seriously,
I paid dues in bar bands for years just like most musicians. When I got
a call to tour Japan with a Japanese artist, Junko Yagami, things sure
took off for me.
Lots
of studio sessions and working with major national artists such as: Dave
Mason, Eddie Money, Carole King, Eric Burdon and more. I have been touring
since then, all while working on many gold and platinum recordings. I also
have dived into TV and Film scoring. I wrote, produced, engineered, and
performed the theme song and score for the nationally syndicated reality
show "Cheaters", as well as work on the movie
'Left
Behind".
I've
also been on a ton of TV shows with various bands and did a silly commercial
for Carl's Junior with Eddie Money...you know the sloppy burger one...
I still cant eat there!
Anyway...thats
just a bit about me. Gotta tell ya...it's been a great ride!
